A four-day celebration of food, flowers and flavour, inspired by the Chelsea Flower Show. If you can’t make it to SW3, join us this spring for our very first BBQ in Bloom, a special annual event bringing together exceptional food, beautiful florals and seasonal inspiration.

 

Enjoy stunning floral displays, edible art installations (by Jacqueline), live fire cookery, butchery demonstrations, BBQ canapés and tastings, and fascinating talks on pollinators by Stuart and Helen from Leigh Bees. You’ll also have the chance to shop an array of quality local produce, with exclusive in-store discounts on flowers and plants from Scotts of Southend.

BBQ In Bloom

Our lineup includes:

  • Live butchery demos and professional BBQ tips from Ben of Ben’s Kitchen and owner of The BBQ Hub. Wednesday 20th.

  • Jacqueline Wise (@jaquelinewisechef), talented private chef, renowned forager and star of stage and screen. Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd.

  • Darren from Lolulis, award winning, live fire fish and seafood chef. Saturday 23rd.

  • Blooms of Thorpe Bay, Southend, creating breathtaking floral installations.

  • Floral displays and artistic installations by our resident artist.

  • Leigh Bees, offering engaging talks on bees and pollinators, plus bee-related products

 

Tickets: £25 per person (strictly ticketed)

Each 2-hour slot includes:

  • A complimentary glass of bubbles 🥂 (or a drink of your choice)

  • BBQ canapés and food samples

  • Exclusive in-store discount on flowers and plants from Scotts of Southend

  • Up to 65 attendees per session.
