Argentine Asado Experience is a travelling live-fire feast and cultural cooking demonstration run across the United Kingdom by Argentine chef Matias Casotto.
Built around the ritual of a traditional Sunday asado, the experience brings people around the fire for several hours to learn, eat, and understand the culture behind Argentine barbecue. Cooking exclusively with wood and charcoal, the format focuses on whole cuts, classic Argentine techniques, and the slow, social rhythm that defines asado back home.
Guests don’t just watch a demo. They spend the day around the fire as different elements are cooked in sequence, including different cuts of beef, with a strong focus on vacío, different cuts of pork, choripán, provoleta, and chimichurri, while Matias explains the origins, methods, and traditions behind each part of the cook.
A special selection of Argentinian wines will also be explored on this rich cultural experience.
